Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Return & Exchange Policy


At Amber Hand Embroidery, we are committed to providing high-quality handcrafted products and a thoughtful shopping experience. Each piece is made with care, and we understand that in rare cases, an issue may arise. Please read our Return & Exchange Policy carefully to ensure a smooth process.


Eligibility for Return
You may request a return only under the following conditions:
 • You have received a defective, damaged, or incorrect product
 • The return request is raised within 24 hours of receiving the order ⚠️
Please note: We strictly adhere to this timeline. Any return or exchange request raised after 24 hours of delivery will not be entertained. 

 How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us within 24 hours via:

 Kindly share:
 • Order number
 • Clear photos or videos showing the issue
 Our team will review the details provided.

 Return Acceptance & Processing
 Once your return request is received, our team will assess the eligibility based on the shared information.
 If approved:
 • Refunds will be processed only as store credit / online credit
 • Cash refunds are not offered
 • Please allow 5–7 working days for the refund to be processed after approval and quality check 

Packaging & Shipping for Returns 
When returning a product, please ensure:
 • The product is unused and in its original condition
 • Original packaging, tags, labels, and accessories are intact
 • The return package is securely packed to avoid damage during transit

  Shipping charges for returns must be borne by the customer, except in cases where the return is due to an error from our side. 

 Non-Eligible Returns
Returns will not be accepted in the following cases: 
• Damage caused due to misuse, mishandling, or wear and tear 
• Products returned after 24 hours of delivery 
• Products that fail quality inspection upon return 
• Products purchased during sale or promotional offers 
• Slight variations in color, embroidery, or finish (natural to handmade products) 

All returned items will be inspected before any refund is approved.

 Custom & Made-to-Order Products
All customized and made-to-order pieces are non-refundable and non-exchangeable at any stage. 

Once a customization order is placed, significant time and effort are invested in: 
 • Understanding your requirements
  • Design discussions
 • Planning and execution of hand embroidery

Therefore, refunds or cancellations are not possible, even if the order is cancelled shortly after placement. This policy applies regardless of when the cancellation is requested. We kindly request customers to finalize all details carefully before placing a customization order.
